No, I didn't ask if you had read a newspaper lately. I asked if
you have looked at one. Closely. Have you examined one with
care? If you take a good look at the front page, here is what
you will find.
It's A Work Of Art
The main headline can be read at a glance, even when located on
a newsstand quite some distance away. It grabs attention hard.
It often draws you toward the rack, at least close enough to
read the subheadline. And, as often as not, just as millions do
every day, you buy a copy ...

Just a few decades ago, distance learning existed only in the
imaginations of science fiction writers. Of course, computers
were as big as a house and only those same science fiction
writers wove stories of a world in which computers were
commonplace.
While technology has not taken the strides some predicted and we
Earthlings didn't colonize the moon by the year 2000, there are
many who probably never expected that most people log onto the
Internet on a regular basis.
The great advances in ...

I Must Get The Newspaper
Every day when I wake up one of the first items that creeps into
my head is getting the newspaper. I have got to get the paper. I
have operated this way for over 40 years. The paper gets me in
the know. More so than the internet I guess it might be because
I can touch it or feel it.
I confess - I have to see the sports pages. It's out in the
open. I admit it. There is something missing for me if I do not
get to see the sports pages.
Who hit home runs? Who got the ...

Television is something we are all familiar with. TVs can be

You unlock this door with the key of imagination. That's what
Rod Serling would say. It appears to me that the Twilight Zone
may have affected more than the 30 minutes it controlled every
week those many years ago. So with the keys of your imagination
lets journey farther into the Outer Limits of television and
discover that the weird and the bizarre were not just limited to
the great classic sci-fi hits like the Twilight Zone and the
Outer Limits. Nor is the unexplained always presented ...

Did you know, that television -- the persistent purveyor of pop
culture here in America -- shapes a LOT of your prospects
behavior patterns?
Here, listen to this:
1. The average US home has the TV on for 7 hours and 40 munites
a day.
In case you're wondering, that means by the time a child is 18
years old, they've already been exposed to 50,367.6 hours of
television!
Sheesh!
2. The average amount of television the average American
watches, is over 4 hours a day. (that's 17% of your ...

The modern cinema has come a long way in the last hundred years since film was first invented. Where once films were shown in dark, single screen movie theatres with flickering images projected onto screens, movies have evolved to the grandiose experience they are today. Most cinemas now are huge sprawling multiplexes that show dozens of movies at the same time, entertaining thousands of people at once. Then once the films have gone from the cinemas they are released on home entertainment ...
